Daniel Meilak has read history at the University of Malta between 2006 and 2009 graduating as B.A. (Hons) and between 2013 and 2015 obtaining a first-class M.A. degree. His research focuses on Maltese cultural and intellectural history during the British rule of Malta. As part of his M.A. degree he researched Maltese Romanticism and Nationalism taking a multi-disciplinary approach across a variety of fields from historiography, art, music, literary, archaeological and theatrical history framed in the political social and economic context of Malta, with special relevance to religious, linguistic and ideological issues taking place during this period.
